FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

my fiancee will be landing at our airport in justa few hours..i'm soooo glad.. he's soo sick.. ontop of being injures.he's been in isolated to quarters since Friday, so I'll be so thankful to get him home and get him healthy again!! Good luck ladies!!!

Glad you got a phone call Maggie...go to your individual page....click on the tab "my page" scroll down to the bottom and you will find comments and it is written there....

Okay...first Mean Lynne...you all don't know her very well...lol...deleted all the posts that had last names in them....I just did it to insure that it gets done because sometimes people post and then don't post again until the next day and that is too long to have last names up....lol...OPSEC rules and all...so if you are wondering where your post went...it was me

Sandi....I have asked around and no one I have talked to....even people with PIRs with as many divisions as us has had anyone turned away...now I am not saying it couldn't be a first .... but it is unlikely...

good morning all, just wanted to know does anyone know if we have had drop out in this pir date? I was on the chat line and was asking the others about if they think we could get 2 more people in. My 14 year old never has missed a day of school and is considering missing a day to go to PIR and I would hate for him to do that if he cant get in, I would also like paytonshana to get in but it is just me, dad, grandpa,grandma on the list. Anyone have any idea's

she said she is cold very cold and other stuff ,cant wait for the heat to go on ,going to the doctor on saturday.
