hey hey!! my fiancee called this morning, he will meet with legal on wed, but could possibly be tom. home no later than next wed. yay!! hes sick tho, had to go back to medical to get some medicine.. upper respitory problem. sounds like everyone in ship 5 goes home with that. he is finally perking up.. excited to come home and get healed and start a new chapter in his life. hope all your recruits are doing well.. they should be getting the hang of things now! mine says he will miss his bunkmates the most.. the really develop some good relationships there.. they have to, its what gets them thru this! be so proud of the boys you raised, married, or plan to marry! (or women) :)

LYNN!!! YOU'RE AMAZING! Thanks so much for putting up the info on what they're doing. I'm proud to say that I got a phone call on Friday. To make it even better, I got the call just as i had gotten to a retreat center where i had been asked to serve for the weekend. So all around, good weekend. I felt a bit overwhelmed by her call but it was such a good feeling. My question about the call is, when would i get another one? I'm guessing the next would the "I'm a Sailor!" call. Please let me know when you can.

much love, positive vibes and God Bless you all

Well I am still cleaning out my son's room..I swear he never threw anything out..I came across a letter he wrote to me on Mothers Day when he was in 6th grade (he never gave it to me) It went like this ..Dear Mother, Im wishing you a happy Mothers day. Your the best, you are loving and kind to me. You take care of me even if I am a pain in the behind... I moan and groan about doing work but still you love me...sometimes I'm not easy to get along with but you still love me..Even if you yell at me and tell me I'm lazy, I still love you! I love all the things you do for me...Love Your Son. needless to say I cryed after reading this letter..even though it is several years late!
