Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

my son left for boot camp Sept. 3rd...got a call last Thur. so almost 4 weeks! Hope you all get a call soon!

hi Marite. I've had no phone call either. Sure hoping we get one of those mid week calls like other divisions have gotten.
I think some of those other divisions were formed before ours, so maybe they were just a little ahead in the scheduled phone calling time.

Marite, I told my husband...either Logan is in serious trouble or the group don't have it together....LOL..I do believe our div. is a push division so they aren't on a reg. schedule..(is that right Lynn lol) ...my son said he would write and tell me day he would call...so I am really looking forward to Wed. to get a letter....

My son is in Div 363 and we've had several letters but no phone calls. He has not said why, he just said he was going to put the calling card to good use whenever he was given the chance!

I don't think they have that anymore. I heard the first we'd see the recruits is at PIR.

maybe they dont have it anymore. when Mitch graduated...20 years ago! They had a little picinic type event for recruits and families. It was the day before PIR.
