I got a call too... So excited! Thanks to all of the ladies who posted that they had gotten the message in letters otherwise I would have missed it. I was in class... so I kept my phone handy. I laughed and cried both. I dont have time for details right now but will this evening, I've got to get to work.

Congrats to all who are getting calls, and thanks for the advice on writing things down to say...
Navymom x 2, the letter I got from my son also said he might be getting some wisdom teeth out on Thurs., not sure if it would be this week or last week tho, since he didn't date the letter. Jeesh, he just got his braces off in March, too!

I got a call, best hour of my life, since he was born anyway...he sounded so good...I have the funniest stories to tell, but I do want to say this to all of you moms: I asked my son have you gotten in trouble or gotten your division in trouble and he said..look mom almost....but everybody gets in trouble. I leaned against the bulkhead for about two seconds and got caught. I was tired. The RDC saw me and started screaming at me and then screaming at the division for allowing me to do it. I put on my big girl panties like you taught me, (he said that to make me laugh in other wards he held himself accountable) and told the chief no one else saw me I had just done it and I was responsible so I was the only one who got in trouble. But he said, it can be as simple as shifting your eyes when you are standing at attention, or talking at chow, or smiling when someone is getting yelled at because he said sometimes it is funny what they say especially when we are tired....so it really isn't anyone's fault...someone just gets blamed and we are all tired and all grumpy and all mad...
So mom's don't worry, just think your child shame on them may have straying eyes or like mine may have committed the crime of leaning against the bulkhead
