OMG, bed bugs are the worst thing ever. What is their purpose? They seem so absolutely gross. Time to bring a plastic cover for your movie seat. Wouldn't that be hysterical. Used to be you couldn't put your head on the headrest for chance of lice, now have to hover above seat entirely.

good morning people!
first off, i hope you all slept well and hope your days are off to a good start. I'd like to know if you can pray for me. I'm a bit down cuz i'm missing my wife and i'm not myself. Basically, i'm taking out my anger on people i don't even know, my family and some of my friends. Thankfully, they understand why i am the way i've been, but it's not fair to them. I'd appreciate any prayer.
Hope you all have a blessed day

positive vibes and God Bless

lol Lynne, you crack me up. I can't stand the thoughts of getting bed bugs. No matter where I stay the first thing I do is check for those nasty little critters. I even check my own beds once a week when I change the sheets. Did you know they like movie theater seats and you can get them there and bring them home with you? I will be taking a flash light with me to the movies from now on. YUCK!!!!

I wish we had known about the forest reserve when we were there with our daughter for her PIR. Now that my future son-in-law is in boot camp maybe we will get to go there. It sounds like a nice place to take pictures. I have started the ribbons for this group so if anyone else wants some just let me know. And for the mom who ordered one for a new wife who is having a hard time let me just say you are an amazing and very kind woman. She was so excited when I told her someone had done that for her she cried. I am also sending her an extra one just in case she needed more than one. Thanks so much for your generosity. I know how much she appreciates it and you totally made her day. There are still some amazing people in this world. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. I will call you the ribbon fairy lol. Thanks

JRB, the woman who wrote the forum on encouragin words to send to your recruit sent this message to me today. i thought I would share it with all of you!!

You may want to let people know about this forest reserve that is only 5-10 minutes away from base. It is so pretty there and it's $5 for a car to get in. Unless you have a sailor in the car! Then, It's free. It was so nice to walk around and there are places to sit everywhere. The have a garden and trails to walk. It was a wonderful place to end our weekend together and I just want everyone to know it's there! :)
Here is the website to the reserve.
http://www.lcfpd.org/ig_visitors_center/?rdct=independencegrove.

Like I said it is so nice to just go there and talk or walk around or whatever it is you want to do.
Also, we didn't have kids with us but they have a play ground for kids there with lots of stuff for them to do! :)

Soemthing to throw out there for your recruit to consider, especially those of you bringing children or maybe those of you looking for little "romance". Have a great day.....fingers and toes are crossed and I want you to know they are just uncramped from last week...lol!!
