@Tiffany - my son arrived at GL on the evening of Sept. 14th.

@Gabby - Guess 362 and 363 are in the same boat. Ha! no pun intended! It's getting late. sorry! :-)

OMG I just opened my email and I'm flooded with comments from here. I guess I'll have to sit down tomorrow morning and spend some time just reading through what you guys are talking about. I just don't have time to be on this site very much. Hope I'm not missing anything important. I'm writing to our son every day and encouraging family to send postcards. I wish we would get a call. Thanks for all the support here! Blessings, KarlaB

I believe they can only write on Sundays & is mailed out on Mondays. I have read that they receive mail daily they hold all of their mail for the first 2 to 3 weeks.

NewNavyMom - As far as I can tell, there are only 5 of us on here with boys in the 363 division. you, me, Marite, B2bparts, KatPre1 and Debbie. We are the only ones who have posted on the "Division 363 Mustering In" up above. I guess we will have to hold on to the "no news is good news" statement for now. Talk to you tomorrow and I check my mailbox!!!

My friends husband is in the navy and he said they get mail call everyday but they can only write once a week so idk when did yours leave??

Tiffany, no, I didn't even get the "I'm here call". I did talk to him on his cell when he landed in Chicago, but I never got THE call. I'm still wondering why. I called his recruiter the next day and he said that the personnel there stand right next to them to make sure they contacted someone. Oh well. I'm still waiting patiently for the first letter. How often do they get mail call. I have heard conflicting answers. Anyone know for sure?
