My son is in 363 and no letter yet, except for the form letter with a few lines at the end; I thought it was just me but I guess the others receiving mail were from other divisions...do you think they are appreciating all of us just a little more just about now.....

I was able to clean out my son's bathroom but have just started on his room (a scary place). I would give ANYTHING to see his bed and locker now and how neat it is. I am ORGANIZING, it will be a while before I can get to the point of even cleaning!!!! But it is kind of fun, if I can confess, because it's his stuff.

I found the bed frame was all twisted up (was it him or the big dogs?) and I fixed it with his own gorilla tape (duct tape look-a-like) so there's some justice in that. The head board came apart (it WAS an old one - maybe 20 years) so I am trying to see if I can fix it myself without telling his Dad! I'm holding it together with a clamp right now.....

I only said that because it represents the vast difference in the number of days these recruits have been at boot camp, yet some who have been there much less time have written more letters, and some have written none. Remember the RDC are individually in charge and they run their divisions how they want to. They have guidelines about what has to be accomplished each week but no guidelines about what priveleges they have to give out....which is why there is such a difference...you wait y'all will be enjoying your phone calls and Cardinal company will be whining in our corners because we aren't hearing anything...every division is different

peanut butter shot is gamma globulin...its like a hepatitis prevention kind of thing...very very very painful...I was exposed to hepatitis by my friend's sister who had used drugs in college and used a dirty needle and so I had to get one...thank you very much....it was soooooooo painful and it was given slowly and carefully...I can't imagine jamming in in there quickly and without thought

they don't start counting boot camp days until processing is completed
