thanks Lynne, I am hoping they are making friends with their new shipmates and being supportive of each other so they all can do well.
I haven't done anything to his room yet, he told me not to touch it and to keep younger brother out of his room. he said he would get time off after A school so he will come home and deal with his room then, He decided to join the Navy in August, he had less than 30 days to get ready and go. He was excited to go.

hey all say a prayer for PIR 9/24 their recruits are headed to Battle Stations tonight. It is their last test and hurdle to becoming a sailor. Their moms, g/fs, wives, and families will be waiting with bated breath for that "I'm a Sailor" call tommorrow!!

I am glad you got a call and hope next time you will be there...I am sure you are missing him...just hearing you say that brings tears to my eyes and makes me think about missing my own son...we'll get through this. I keep thinking about how they must feel. We have all the comforts of home, friends that we can call, this group we can vent to, and they are trying to navigate something to totally new. God bless them. I pray for them unceasingly and for their RDCs even if they are being kind of ugly to them....lol!!

Every time the phone rings, I think he is calling. he did call on Saturday and I was working so he left a Voice mail, but I really want to talk to him. I am sure he is fine, just missing my son and hoping he is doing ok.
