Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Glenn's Girl I really like your Hubby's RDC..I am hoping to get a call this weekend..this wondering how my son is doing is a killer thanks for the X'ed fingers!!!

lol well i got the call to confirm he got there safely. and then he called on saturday because he did a good job stenciling his clothes. lol i hope his RDCs are nice he didn't mention what day he was on but he said his division was doing okay he said he dosen't really like the food lol and that its hard but he said he right on track. they are assigned jobs and his is to pass out mail and that he is looking forward to getting this over with. it was a quick 3 min. call but it totally made my day just to hear his voice!

Ok I changed my profile pic..our group is growing and since my son is in the Cardinal Company that left sept. 3rd. I thought I would well as you can see from the picture.. cheer them on...oh and good luck to all the other Div. as well!!! Hurry Nov. 5th!!

I would actually use the address you have to tell your husband you didn't get the form letter because I think he will have to ask to have it regenerated...I don't think the recruiter can do it

You have gotten 2 phone calls...your division must have nice RDCs or your husband is a rock star....so how is the division doing...what did he have to say...did he mention what day it was the navy way...lol I am full of questions..

ok so i've gotten the box, 2 phone calls and the info i need to get tricare started but still no form letter when i talked to my husband saturday he said he sent it out 2 days after arriving there. he got there the 8th. should i call his recruiter to see if he can get them to send me another one or should i just wait it out a little longer?

It is getting towards 10 PM in Great Lakes. This is the time of night when I stop everything and take a few minutes to pray. I hope that through prayer I am connecting with my son heart to heart and he will know I am with him in spirit, encouraging him,protecting through prayer, and cheering him on. I will hold up each of your recruits and your familes in prayer as well.
