Hi -

Our sailor has come and gone. She flew back to Damneck, VA, early this morning (via Washington DC). Once in DC, her 30 minute flight back to Damneck was cancelled. She has found a Navy friend through the USO and they are sharing a room tonight. No flights, buses or trains - in or out of DC tonight. God bless all of your sailors and give them safe traveling mercies. Enjoy your time together; we sure did. Praying for the snow to let up.

I will say an extra prayer for you that he arrives on-time and safe & sound.  Our sailor goes back to Washington tomorrow and I am doing everything in my power not to break down in tears.  Enjoy your time and relish every moment because it goes by to darn fast :)

Hi all, Hope everyone was able to have a wonderful holiday with their sailor.

Mine hopefully will be home tomorrow evening.  He is flying out of Rhode Island, and as you know if you have seen the news. they have blizzard warnings posted all up and down the east coast.  Praying he gets here safe and sound.;
