I got my call! D sounded so wonderful! He was surprised that I knew he was going to call. He still doesn't understand the power of N4M Mom, lol. He said his division is up for winning the Hall of Fame Flag. Its for the highest overall score for all of bootcamp. He said his and his brother division are neck in neck for it. I'm so proud of him and everyone in his division!!!

I'm so glad you all got your calls! I will be traveling tomorrow, but I will check in tomorrow night to see who else got their calls. I hope everyone travels safely over the next couple of days!

I got my call today at 3:02 eastern time. I was so happy to hear from him. He is now a Sailor.  I can't wait to see him on Friday.  I just hope the weather will cooperate.

Congratulations to all the Navy moms(:

Woohoo for all our calls today.  We will be waiting patiently for our next group of calls tomorrow.  :)

My husband got the call early this afternoon.  He did not call me, but I was at work and I work retail, so it is tough to take calls.  I am just happy he called and gave us the words "he is a sailor"!  So happy for him!!!! My husband said he sounded confident and excited and was even talking about Annapolis!  Never did I imagine that 4 years ago we would move from Maine to California and I would have a son in the Navy.  Congratulations to all the new sailors and their families and I look forward to hearing from the other divisions' moms very soon!!!

PIR just around the corner. . . .
