Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

not crazy at all....  and I'd love to do it.... I will double check my flight, but I think it lands at ohare at 10pm on the 10th...I can have the prints printed for you guys  or I can email you the file for free....

mamma- I too would like to have a photo memory of the meet and greet. If Heather is up for the challenge, and we do the envelopes while we are there...I would be happy to pay for the photo.

Heather...yes I was hoping to get some pics at the Meet and Greet of all N4M;s together and maybe each division? 

I know we will have cameras but was hoping someone had a Really good one to take a really nice professional picture...

THEN i was thinking we could give that photographer 5.00 that night of M and G to have that group and division pic sent back to you.  We could get those yellow envelopes and have everyone address them for the photographer? 

Any suggestions.... I just know this will be a moment in our lives we will want to always remember. 

Am I crazy for wanting to do this.... LOL..

any wives have husbands that are in the AECF program? if so this link (AECF Wives Club) has Tons of info on moving to GL for his school! They also talk about good areas to live in! Just thought I would share! Very informative!

oh see we already had NFCU before he left, maybe his check went into his Navy fed acct and because of the holiday the transfer is just held up.... check first thing in the AM... I;ll cross my fingers you get it!!!!

My husband told me his signed up for Navy Fed too, and that money would transfer to his other bank account for me, but I havent received it yet. Hmmm, not really sure? I wish he wouldve called today :(

wow the 7th? it might be the bank, check it tomorrow.... since its been a holiday weekend it might still be pending. I have Navy Fed and it was there bright and early waiting for me on the 30th....
