Good question, Jean.  They normally open at 9 am GL time, I think, so maybe just give them a call tomorrow and see. 847-688-2405

Jake's Fiance:  There is a site for wives on N4M's so you may want to ask this question on that.  Look for it under GROUPS.

It may well be, LWEatonNC, so welcome and stay here unless you find out differently!

I think my nephew may be in this group, although I've received no information from anybody!

He flew from Raleigh to New York City Thursday night, and arrived in Chicago at 10:27 that night;  he called me from the plane, but I haven't heard a word since then.

I am assuming he thought that was the "I'm here call." I don't know his PIR date, but I assuming it may be this group.

I have a question. It says on the START guide they gave my fiance to read before bootcamp, that E-3's and below do not get shipped out to another country if they have a dependant (My fiance is an E-3 in bootcamp right now. He left Jan.6th) Is this true?

That is so confusing to so many families. Hopefully that will be straightened out tomorrow when the Public Affairs office opens up.

You are all very welcome. I really do understand, it has only been about 5 months since my sailor graduated boot camp. Since then she has gotten engaged, graduated from A-school, gotten married, graduated C-school, joined her fleet with the Ragin' Bulls and The Harry S Truman, and is in the next week so coming home to move all her belongins to her new apartment. I feel like I am on a never-ending merry-go-round that is attached to a roller-coaster. What a ride. I love this site and being able to help other moms and wives etc makes me feel somewhat grounded. I am happy to help. If you get the chance check out my page and pics.
