Anyone who lives in the VA Beach/Norfolk area. There is a group of us planning on meeting one day for lunch (shooting for Thursday) the last week of April. I will be there that week for spring break. We would love to meet as many other moms/families etc as possible for lunch one day. If you have a sailor there and they could possible come that would be awesome. If you are in that area and would like to join us please let me know. Send me a private message with your name and number. We will keep the time and place in private messages as well. Thanks

Has anyone ever heard of the recruits not being paid while waiting on A-school?
Comment by Ann-Marie(Proud Mom of Nick) on March 21, 2011 at 4:07pm

Ann-Marie, did he tell you about the Shots line up on both sides -LOL? He said it reminded him of the "spanking" line on his birthday when he was little. Too funny. Some SR's did not feel well after that at all. He said he did alright, just that it hurts a lot the next day. Luckily we had traveled and he remembered to rub all the spots. Haha
