I emailed the RTC and they wrote me back already. They recommend I ask him when he calls me after Battlestations. Got a room at the Days Inn which is right by the base and has a shuttle which runs starting at 6 a.m. and only costs $2 per person per direction. And the price is right!!! Talk about having a complete meltdown today!!!

Ship 12 div 092

I called the Navy direct and they gave me the password after I found out they had changed his graduation date

I agree with Betsy, Anthony's mom.  Don't bother calling the PAO because they can't give you the password---they will tell you to ask your recruit for it.  So your son can give it to you when he calls... don't forget to ask!

The password is very protected and not to be shared because it allows access to the base.....so your son is the key!

AnthonysMom, we took the shuttle from the Residence Inn and it was simple and no stressing about traffic.  We got on the earliest shuttle and was able to get great seats in the hall.  You will need to reserve seats on the shuttle when you arrive at your hotel, so don't forget to do that.

Thank you both! I found the directions, and I'm glad I saw the graduation schedule because I didn't know it would be so early! I thought we'd be able to drive in Friday morning...I guess it'll be Thursday night! I just called his recruiter to see if he can get me the password...Now that I know we have to spend the night in a hotel, since its just me and my younger son attending, maybe we'll just take a shuttle from one of them and not even sweat it!!!
