Dubbie we are leaving 9:00 AM Thursday morning. We are staying at the Ramada so I should be there for the M&G.
Jean, Sorry I forgot about the different time zones. I will keep you in my thoughts so the day goes faster for you.

Renee.....Kurtis I'm sure has already passed!!!!! As I mentioned earlier, God & his angels will pick up those feet of Kurtis and run like no other :) I'm confident he has already passed this test and now Div 167 is preparing for BS21 tomorrow. Just curious, was Kurtis's PIR date moved up one week also? Chase was originally suppose to graduate on 4/30 and they bumped him to 4/23?
Keep smiling......He's doing fine!~!~!~!~

Cathy, when my daughter took her last PFA one of the petty officers saw that she was getting tired and ran with her and paced her, encouraging her the whole time. She finished 28 seconds under time after worrying that she might not pass. The RDCs want all their recruits to pass. They're FOR our kids.

Chases mom, Don't worry. It doesn't take much right now to get me to cry. Someone can look at me wrong and I will tear up. I'm a basket case.
Comment by Janiece M-Utah on April 19, 2010 at 12:17pm
Awh man, I didn't want to make anyone cry!!! Thought we should save those tears for Friday when we get to hug & kiss our sailors and see the grand entrance into the building. Can I make a suggestion to all our fabulous mom's/wifes/GF's on this site.....please make a point to notice at PIR those Sailor's who do not have someone there for them and give them a big hug. I know of a couple guys in Chase's division who have no family coming this weekend. I can't imagine the feelings they will have when everyone else is surrounded by so much love. I was also told by Chase that this weekend if the Sailor doesn't have family coming in to see them they are not allowed to leave base unless with another recruit. They are on a buddy system....
I'm just saying.....we need to be caring to them as well......
Hugs...
Janiece/Utah :)
