PC Mom;  Accidentally deleted, right?  I agree with Lala....rejoin.  Maybe they are just trying to work out the quirks of the system and it deleted people they didn't mean to.  It is a very very worthwhile goup!

My son arrived in GL on 3/7.  He opted to use his existing local bank for payroll.  His first deposit posted on 3/31.  Not sure that's helps with the NFCU problem but thought I would let you know he did get paid.

Have you heard of a group here on N4M's called ANSWER (Adopt a Noble Recruit Write Every Sailor)? Nearly every Div./PIR Group have SR’s that get little to no mail. They may not have any family to support them or maybe their family doesn't realize how important the letters are for the future Sailors. Ask your sailor in your next letter if there are any recruits who are not getting any mail and if there are have him/her send you the name and address. PLEASE do not post the name and/or address on this site or any other website, such as facebook etc. Just go to that group and send the info in a private message to Hunter's Mom (creator of the group) And if you would like to write to these well deserving recruits please join the group. Each member must be approved. If you are already a member of it check to make sure you still are. There was a glitch this morning and some members were accidentally deleted. Thanks so much and I hope you all have a lovely weekend. :-)

josie- when did he arrive to GL? My husband arrived 3/2 and his first pay came through 3/31. We bank with nfcu as well.

my son opened an acct. with navy federal - befoer they left to bc they got hsi bank routing information for NFCU for his deposit.  the current statement, however, says -0-.  i am hoping his paychecks are getting credited somewhere.  if not, will they send him a live check??
Comment by Navywifeandmom - 3/150 on April 1, 2011 at 10:38am
Same for us. We received a bank statement for NFCU with a zero balance. He must have opened an acct with them and had his checks deposited there. Which is unfortunate that we don't have the info to access the acct since we have Power of Attorney to handle his financial affairs while in BC.

they are given the option to open a navyfederal and/or a usaa account I believe.

i wrote hubby and asked for his mypay log in  information so i can check his pay check stub!
