Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I got all teary-eyed reading that you received phone calls. I can't wait for mine to come. BUT take it from me...don't read about this while at work!! Never fails someone will walk in while you are crying!! So well worth it though! Ring phone ring!!

I'm so glad everyone is getting their phone calls!! Come on Div 155 & 156! Let's be next! I warned my Zumba instructor that I'm keeping my phone on during class and if it goes off I'm hightailing it out of there!

My husband just called also...16 minuet call...he said they have a horrible division and thats why they couldn't talk longer...said they probably won't get another call till the one after battlestations....that just breaks my heart. I think I feel worse after talking to him then I did before...

MY SON JUST CALLED!!!!!!!  Ship 12/154.....I am so happy, although he has a sore throat, he sounds great.  It was so terrific to hear his voice.

navygirlfriend:  The calls are random so there is no telling when a division may call and how long a call will be.  It is up to their RDCs and how much time they have to make the calls. Just be ready at any time!

reneric.. thank you! thats exciting to hear. me, his mom and his grandma are gonna split it and i think i can handle 10 minutes each! i just need to hear him say im doing great, i love and miss you and i cant wait to see you at graduation!

sailor mom.. agreed!  its awesome getting letters but hearing them say it is gonna do wonders!

Navygirlfriend21 The call I got lasted 30 minutes then he said he had to go. I hope you get your call soon and enjoy every minute ! 

Hoping everyone in the other units get their calls soon..... thoughts and prayers are with you all  !
