Yep, that's true.  Jessica and I are the diehards still around after over a yr!  Yes, Jessica, ours were in different divisions before mine was asmoed.

But, everyone, the reason I am acting as a veteran is because even though Jessica and I were in the same group and both newbies, she reached out to me when I was confused when my son was asmoed.  I didn't know what that meant and had not found anyone one here to explain it.  She is one who was so sweet and showed an interest in what was happening to him.  Meant the world to me....so here I am with Jessica and others...trying to help others!  The pay it forward thing...Jessica was the ringleader!  :-)

My son was asmoed when there for a week.  It actually was a good thing for him...he ended up in a better division after that, a more serious division, and did well.  So like Jessica said, being asmoed is NOT the end of the world and can be a GOOD thing!

Thanks again Jessica..its really hard to believe that in this world where it sometimes seems that everyone is just trying to get something for themselves, that there are people like you and some of the other veteran moms..just paying it forward.  I will be forever grateful and I will do my best to contribute to paying it forward. As you must already know, this has been one of the most difficult times of any moms life and you have provided a much needed comfort...Thank you doesn't come near the gratitude that I feel.

Also does anyone know how fast you get a call if that does happen-asmoed?
Comment by Michelle (ship-12 div-154) on March 27, 2011 at 8:26pm
Reneric thank you for the kind words.....my son mention in his letter that there was a test he had to take on Fri that he was very nervous about and that if he failed he could get asmoed which he seemed truly scared could happen....I believe you can be asmoed for failing, disciplined, medical...it means you go back for 2 more weeks of BC-if this isn't accurate please advise all accurately

What is this asmoed?
Comment by Reneric007/169 on March 27, 2011 at 7:53pm
Michelle yes when they get asmoed they will call home and tell you and give youi new division number and PIR date. If your child has been please do not take it too hard as every child can't be perfect and peoples perception can be cruel.
