marylieu...i read that they are typically allowed to write on Sundays... Bryan appears to be writing everynight before bedtime and then stuffs the envelopes. I also read that letters are mailed out once a week, but I do not know what day...my most recent envelope was stamped 3/17

I am not sure exactly where I read it on this site, but if they are allowed to write, its usually on Sunday, so letters can arrive tomorrow or Wednesday.  I am in NYC so I am thinking Wed......can't wait!!!!

Thank you all for the info. I do recall seeing that letter where his A school will be. Thanks for the reminders. Fingers crossed we will be getting letters this week. I think my mailman thinks I have lost my mind by always checking with him. Oh well!!!!

Angie, my son had a paper where he inlisted back in August 2010 and it had all of his months of schooling listed in the top left corner.  He will be FC and will stay in GL for about a year for school. I have no idea how much time we will have to spend with him after PIR. Hoping for the whole weekend fo from what I've read, doesn't look promising.

I have a feeling that letters may be received this week for many of you!

Angie:  Only your son will know where he is to go to A School.

Hi Angie, my boyfriend and your son are in the same division. I believe we'll probably be receiving mail this week. Fingers crossed!

Is there anyone out there with a SR in 3/149 that has received a letter? I scan the comments daily and don't believe I've seen one.  Anyone know why we might not be getting letters yet?
Comment by diannep on March 21, 2011 at 8:27pm

m3:  In a letter to your SR, ask him next time he writes to you to date the letter and tell you what week/day that day is (i.e., 1-1, 1-2, 1-3  ---means Week 1-- Day 1, 2, and 3.  Then you can keep up with the weeks/days.  Put it on your calendar.  Weekends and holidays don't count.  So, say Thurs is his "Day 1" each week, then Fri will be his "Day 2", Monday his "Day 3", Tues his "Day 4", and Wed his "Day 5."

No problem on posting about GradNGo.  Believe me, for those of us who have been on the site for a very long time (veteran or seasoned moms!), it is frustrating because everyone is not on the "same page" yet with the terms at RTC.  But they are working on it!  Any info posted on here is welcome!
