Thanks so much for the compliments on my ribbons. Chris' Mom, I am the person who makes ribbons for family members to wear to PIR and or the Meet and Greet. They are a great way to recognize other N4M members, a great way to show support for your sailor, an awesome keepsake, and apparently they may help your Sailor find you at PIR :-) If you or anyone else would like more info on the ribbons just send me a friend request and I will send you the info. Or you can send me an email to: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com Be sure and tell me your N4M profile name and PIR date. If you have facebook go to my facebook page "Unique Memory Makers" and if you "LIKE" the page your name will be entered into a drawing to be held March 23rd (This coming Thursday) to win a free bundle pack of Navy Scrapbook embellishments. Oh, one more thing, every ribbon order comes with a free Navy scrapbook embellishment. :-)

Johnsmom- you sit in front of their division and some parents stay in the bleachers and wait until they see they Sailor, others rush the floor and look for them, some write a letter and tell them to meet them in a specific place, and for MK the other sailors saw her ribbon with her sailors name on it and they pointed her in the direction of her son :-) However it happens, they all end up finding each other :-D

Can any one that has been to a PIR tell me how you find your sailor once the ceremony is over?

Please pardon this quick interruption. I just returned from my own sons PIR and am in “catch up” mode. YIKES!

Nearly every Div. /PIR Group has SR’s that get little to no mail. If you hear about "that" someone please share. Either by sending a message to me ‘PRIVATELY PLEASE’ (to protect our SR’s) their last name, first if you have it, and address. Or you may also join our group by checking us out on the link below.

Where do you get the ribbons from and how much do they cost?  Also, how do I know how many nights to reserve a room for?

Lala Ribbon Queen makes somes amazing ribbons to wear to PIR.  Its not too early to place an order with her.  I can tell you from experience that it made finding our son much easier.  Many of the boys saw the ribbon with his name and pointed me in the right direction.  Plus the ribbons are an awesome keepsake afterwards.

Hi everyone...still no letter from my fiance.  Ship 02, Division 924.  Graduation 4/29...hotel reserved at Homewood Suites.  Can't wait to see him.  Glad to see it looks like someone received a letter from a son in our division.
