I know they have time on Sundays to write, but B wrote apparently at night. He said he fell asleep the one night while writing.

Yes, great some of the letters are starting to come!  Is it true that they write on Sundays?  If so, maybe they will start to arrive by today or tomorrow :)

I received 2 letters from my son today-real letters. It's so great to hear what's going on, to know. What an up and down ride this all is! He's very excited to be there and sounds like he's doing well. Hearing from him makes a world of difference. It certainly turned my day into a great one. I hope you all begin to hear from your SR's soon.

Got my form letter last week!  My son is in Ship 2 Div 924.  Sent my letter(s) the same day I got the address & still waiting for a reply.  Very anxious for news as to how things are going & especially interested in what the "900" activity is.  He played trumpet Middle School though Sophmore is HS (concert band only, no marching) & has a good singing voice, but kind of surprised he went out for that.  Would love to hear from others in his group!

I can hardly wait to see my son.  We booked the Ramada today because they have a meet and greet on Thursday night and we also booked a vehicle from ACE...these were all in the brochure that came with my sons letter.  Still have to find some cheap flights from NYC.  And welcome to all that are here after me and hi to all those that are before me.
