Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

congrats ginos mom! i wasnt able to relax until i got that form letter.  i almost missed his 3 line note on the last page! waiting for my phone call & 1st "real" letter! i've sent 6 already since thursday!  my son graduates 4/29 also; div 924

I am thrilled to say that I am part of this group.  I got my letter today and thought that it would be for 5/6....but happily its for 4/29.  Hello all....and hugs and good thoughts for this difficult time that we are going through.  Son is Ship 12 , Div 154.

Finally got the form letter. Ship-3 Div.-152 So happy. Form letter wasn't postmarked until March 10th so it didn't take too long to get here I guess considering the day it was sent out.

Just made a customized message on my cell's voicemail for my SR just in case I miss his call in the next few weeks! I got that idea from a family friend who's son went to army boot camp. It's a good idea if you aren't able to sit by your phone waiting for his call over the next few weeks, and this way he can still hear your voice too! :)
