Wow, you are lucky that his recruiter is so hopefully. Our recruiter told us that he doesn't have access to her address and we are just going to have to wait. :( And still no form letter for us; hopefully today.

I go my form letter and didn't notice his note on the last page until later that night! i sent him  stamps and a calling card.  his recruiter, who i am in daily contact with :), told me they'd have access to purchase stamps etc.  i was also told i can send him anything but food. cannot wait to see him on 4/29!! he is in teh 900 division (he plays drums and guitar) and from what i understand, that division performs at graduation. I am flying from NJ and other family members from Texas. I just sent him my 1st installment of letters yesterday! another today and working on another for the mailbox tomorrow! additionally, his recruiter posted his address on his Facebook so his friends can write him. he said they will not be able to read any letters until after sunday.

PCMom:  Good idea on keeping your mouth shut with a divided house!  But then again...when they play each other, you will never be disappointed no matter who wins!

TXmom17- sorry I didn't get back to you sooner today.
But yay glad to have yet another mom to add to division 149! :)
Hopefully you see the letter soon!
And yes I've heard they loveee to hear their name for mail call. He wrote in his three sentences on the form letter to make sure to write because that will be what gets him through this time! so yes write and write often! I've been writing everyday since he left so 12 letters now? I think?
I'm writing everyday :)

My son left on the 2nd of March, and we got "the letter" yesterday. I can't wait until the 29th and go see him graduate. We will be flying from Oregon so it is a spendy flight, but man I sure do miss him.....

Ok, PC Mom:  That is the best diplomatic way to be!  My sister in law is a War Eagle fan; her hubby was a Bama fan.  I thought they would kill one another each year during the AU-AL game...it was awful...it has only quieted down because he passed away....

He moved in with his girlfriend in Nov 10 and is in love...I asked about getting an apt together before going off for 7 months(bbot camp and A school) and he wants to pay for it.  As long as he is happy, I am happy. Maybe they will get married...who knows!

I will be coming from Oregon. It will be an expensive flight but well worth it; also staying at the Navy lodge. Still haven't received the form letter :( but am trying to wait very patiently for it.
