I received my form letter today in the mail! Glad to know my husbands graduation date is in fact 4/29. Now, I get the pleasure of an even more hectic schedule during my finals for school. Anything for my hubby :)

I got my box yesterday as well.  Matt left 3/1, no note in the pockets, but I really wasn't expecting one.  I'm sure M, is all business at this point.  So glad to hear you gals are getting your form letters.  I've been assuming PIR was 4/29, but ya never know.  Thanks for sharing!

I am so glad you all are finally starting to get your form letters. Keep it in a safe place you will need it later to print the gate pass. It shouldn't be too long before you get a real letter from your recruit. Keep writing those letters. It is what gets them through and they live for mail call each evening. After a hard day there is nothing better than to get a nice encouraging letter from your family. You can also write an extra letter with some words of encouragement for your recruit to pass on to a friend who isn't getting any mail. They will appreciate it. You can send labels with your recruits address on them and addresses of people your recruit may be writing. Or, you can send self-addressed stamped envelopes for your recruit to use. Either one will save your recruit a lot of time because they won't have to address them. This should give them more time to write you and you can even remind them of that lol.

Oh wow, you got your form letter today? What day did you son leave? Makes me hopefully that our form letter will be coming soon!

I was very glad to get my form letter today with the info we needed. Yesterday was a hard day for me but today's much better. I won't be getting the box because B wore things he wanted to throw out anyway. He let us know in the letter that he just discarded the stuff he wore. Now we need to get time off work and plan our trip to PIR. 50 days doesn't sound so bad.
