That's what going on with my boyfriend's family and I. I am the 5th person. If the divisions are less than 12 then there will be extra seats for us to go sit in after the others have filed in.

And/or ask your son to see if he can find a friend that has less than 4 going and he can put the 5th member on his list.

I have 5 people in my family that will potentially want to go to PIR.  Will anyone here have an extra slot on their guest list?

Thanks.

Whatever questions you have just ask, we are on here everyday, usually several hours each day so one of us will respond to your question pretty quickly.

A little about me: I have 2 sailors. My daughter joined last year in April and during DEP met another recruit. She left in May and had PIR in July. She was a grad and go (Saturday Departure) and left on a chartered flight. She was in the performing div and was in the choir. She was also a stick (person who carries a flag). She went to Pensacola for A-school got engaged 3 weeks after PIR and got married during A-school. 4 days later her hubby left for bootcamp. She went to VA Beach for C-school and graduated in Dec. She is now an AO, Aviation Ordnanceman, and is with a squadron attached to the Harry S Truman. her husband recently finished A-school and is now living with her in their first home/apartment together near VA Beach. I have a son still at home who turns 18 this summer and he is also thinking about joining the Navy. The first 2 weeks are the hardest and I promise it does get better. So hang on this is quite a ride :-)

I got my box today.  I was really afraid I would be very emotional but I wasn't.  All I really noticed was his clothes were really stinky.  LOL.  Must have been very anxious that day.  I would have been.  Actually, I was.  LOL. It is 9pm.  What would they be doing about now.  Anybody know???  Thanks so much ladies for all you do for us here.  I would not be doing as well as I am if it were not for this site.

Krystina'sMom, it's all overwhelming at first and we have all felt the way you do now.  We are here to help and answer any questions you have.  This website was a life saver for me when my son was in boot camp, which was just a few short months ago.  You will get hugs, laughter, comfort and tears from everyone on here.   Diannep, Lala and JessicaB are "veteran" moms and we are all here to help.  :)
