Just stopping by to say Hi! cant believe I havent been on in a month! Hubby is happy in Pensacola, today will be his first day as a brown bagger so i get to sleep next to my husband tonight!! wohoo! He still hasnt started classes, but he is the Alpha Barrack Support Leader. At first he didnt like having the job with all the responsibility but now he does. He gets to work with and talk to the Petty Officers and his Chiefs everyday so he feels his learning alot and making good connections. He is basiclaly in charge assigning all the watches for their barracks, making sure the yeomens are doing their job, and making sure the barracks support ppl are doing their cleaning duties. Its alot on his sholders but hes hoping to start class next week and putting his "sidekick" in charge of barracks!

My son has too settled into a routine now - and it is so hard to believe it has only been a month ago that they were all heading out to their next journeys. My son in Pensacola classed up last Thursday- and was so glad not to wait any longer- but I think his 4 weeks of waiting is quick- as alot of them are still waiting to class up. HE was super happy to get his top secrete clearance passed. He can't tell me anything about his classes- only that he likes it and  he had a test the second day and  passed.  He has volunteered for colors and also made it into rifle drill. Other than that he sure seems to be spending alot of money on food - and at the nex!!!

Happy Memorial DAY!!!

Thanks everyone!

And no, no date yet. He is still on hold for A school so we can't plan anything as far as a date just yet.

And I will keep the name the same since everyone seems to agree :)
