Kelly:  They are only in the bleachers if they go through BattleStations the night before PIR which means they have been up all night and can't march.

Scoutbeach:  No date for 811's BattleStations has been reported by any SRs that I have seen.  If you all get one, please post here and in the BattleStations discussion group up above.  I will then put it on the schedule.  Thanks!

Dianne, Thank you, I was worried that my sr would not be in the ceremony..I heard they would be in the bleachers..

Tricsious:  They still have their chores to do and PIR practice, but it is a much more relaxed atmosphere for them.  However they are warned that they still can be "held" at RTC if they screw up, even if they screw up on PIR day, so they are very cautious!

Ruth:  I would say it is a "PERK" of being an instructor!  :-)

No worries, Kelly.  Even if they go Wed night/Thurs morning, they will be at PIR on Friday.  They will get a good night of sleep on Thurs night.

Hi Ladies, Am I hearing this right? 178 is going through BS on May 18th???? Is this confirmed? And if so, does this mean or SR's wont be in the cerimony? That just dont sound right...I know my Sr will be very sad if he didn't get to do it.

@ Ruth, They are all smiling about something, that's for sure!

They have the capping ceremony right after battlestations. For the next few days they will practice for PIR, spend some time at Ricky Heaven/Nex. According to my Sailor they still have PT, they have to go to a briefing about their travel to A-school, they have another briefing about what they can and can't do during liberty, they have to go get their hair cut again, they also have something called a freedom run but they didn't have it for her PIR. They were Black Flagged and were not allowed outside unless absolutely necessary. They were black flagged because of the the heat (this was in July).
