Does anyone know what happens after battlestations?  Once they pass, some have up to a week before graduation.  What does that last week entail?  Just curious.

Me either Connie, I don't wear spandex and prefer not to see others wearing it either. Especially not to such an important event as PIR.

I really cant remember where I read that dress code... I have read soooo many things since B started BC. But I  guess the point is comfortable and tasteful . Lala some people could take a few lessons on what to wear in public! LOL! I rue the day that spandex was invented! HA! PIR is after all is arespectful ceremony! At my age you wont see me in a get up like that!! LOL!

No Barn Godess that is not true lol, I don't know where people are reading that info but I was there and you can wear whatever you want to wear, you will see people dressed in everything from cut off short shorts to formal wear and everything in between, especially now that it is warmer. I'm not saying they didn't read it because I am sure they did but it could be old info or something.

We were there last summer and I wore a nice pair of Capri's (peddle pushers) with a nice shirt. I saw people in shorts, skirts, dresses, suits, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, sun dresses, and some dresses that look like the short version of a prom dress. We even saw one younger woman in extremely tight leopard skin mini skirt and blouse that showed WAY TOO MUCH cleavage and left very little for the imagination. She had on at 6in high heels. My 16 yr old son's mouth dropped open to the floor lol. He had never seen anyone dressed like that at least not in real life, maybe on TV.   So yeah, casual but nice comfortable clothes are best but you can wear anything you want.

You will see all kinds of dress at PIR.  Nothing is really forbidden unless it is obscene!  But nice jeans, a nice shirt are always in good taste.  It is important to remember to be comfortable because it will be a long day and you will be climbing into bleachers and doing some walking.

Kelly in Katy, I read that the dress code is casual but nice, Dress pants or even nice jeans are okay, but no shorts, mini skirts ,peddle pushers. No bare shoulders and no bare midriffs. Crisp clean attractive as well as comfortable, tasteful and flats shoes Definitely. Not sure where that was actually posted..but I am sure they dont want to insite a riot!!

You can always send a private message and invite them to N4M. I think thy just have to follow their policies. It's not just n4m we can't mention, we can't mention anything from restaurants, places to go etc. It's not just is here. :))
