While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'm assuming that it is the American flag. Are we suppose to fly it at a certain point in time?

Comment by Tricsious (07/174) on April 27, 2011 at 8:39am: My dtr has mentioned more than once in letters being sick and having a cold. She also said she had to go to medical for a blister. She said it was 3 blisters on top of each other and really bad! Ouch!!! Hopefully they are healed by now. Almost 22 days!!! It's nice to see the numbers getting smaller!! Can't wait for 5.20!!
