For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

daughter was held back didnot go to battle stations last night. Fail run test has to thursday to pass mile an half run and than BS's thursday night.

My SR said that he wanted to eat at the Rainforrest Cafe! It is also fun to just walk along Lake Michigan. Hopefully the weather cooperates! Im just excited to see our SR! Have a Happpy Easter!

It is snowing here in our neck of the woods. Not much though! We really, really need rain. Moisture in any shape or form possible. It is actually warmer at RTC than it is here!

Those who had been asmoed (setback) from earlier PIR groups may be getting put back into a training division...so if they were SPEC OPS before, they will go back into a SPEC OPS division. The asmoed SR will enter a new division which is at the same point in training that the SR was when pulled out of the first division. So it will be interesting to see if your SR's division gets a few more back in.

talally: The ones that are missing from 811 could have been asmoed...or even discharged for various reasons.

Hello from the the Group ANSWER. We write recruits who are getting little to no mail.

The group is after me to get MORE SR name's so, please ask your recruits if there is anyone they know of that are not getting much if any mail.

In research, we have learned that nearly every Divsion/PIR group has some SR(s) that are not receiving any mail or may be in recovery and would truly appreciate & love more communication. If you hear from your/any SR about someone who could sure use some kind encouraging words. Please contact me by private message or request to join our group as described below.

Should you not want to join the group yet have a name(s) for us to write.You do need to friend request me, Hunters_Mom by a PRIVATE message with the SR Name(s) & address.

To join and share, first;, friend Hunters_Mom. .Next, Request to join the group. After approval to join (may take a day or two) you can then compose a 'Send Message to Group’, with the envelope icon. You can then send the SR’s name and address privately by 'Send Message to Group’ ONLY, with any particular notes so we may offer correctly tailored words of support in a card, note, or letter to them.
