1ProudMom, I'm with you about the stock in Hallmark, too funny!

Please remember not to send musical greeting cards or anything that might get them noticed for the wrong reasons.

You can order her a NEX gift card online and sent that to her.  She can use it in the NEX to get supplies that she may need or want.

My daughters birthday is this coming Sunday.  Is a Visa check card the best way to get money to her?

I just read online that a SR called home today in ship 07 div 178... has anyone else in this group received calls?

My son, the instructor, called this morning.  He said the weather is snowy and cold and didn't want to talk about it!  The sun is trying to pop out here, but the forecast for western Illinois is rain, hail, wind, more nastiness.  Our thoughts and and prayers are with those that endured the 240+ tornadoes this weekend.

Even instructors have to be tested.  He passed his PT test, so he's got 6 months before the next one.  Push-ups, curl ups, and bike because of his knees.

I hope everyone has a great week and gets a letter, phone call or even better both :-) Sorry I haven't been on here very much the last days I have had an unexplained fever and chills but I am finally feeling better.

I'm also thinking I should have bought stock in Hallmark and American Greeting cards! ha ha.  I've purchased more cards in the last two weeks than I have in 35 years of marriage!  But she is soOooo worth it!

Our family is driving to Great Lakes on the 19th from Kansas.  We are so very excited and can't wait to meet the new woman that the Navy has made out of our daughter!  Looking forward to being a part of the Navy family!
