Hi all - finally got a letter today! I am so happy. He sounds great. He said there are 93 guys in his unit -(ship 4 div 812) all special ops. He doesnt sound like he is getting too much sleep. It was 10 days old (written on the 29th). Maybe the phone calls will start soon. Hang in there.

I'm so glad you got a letter, I can just hear the excitement in your voice from your post. I am so hoping for a letter tomorrow and a call Sunday. Oh, what a weekend that would be.

Hi girls......got my first letter today from my son. I can't explain how I feel. Jubilant..maybe is a good word. He's in ship 4 div 192. He said the div hasn't really started bootcamp yet because the medical processing has been so slow. The letter was dated Easter Sunday. He's laundry PO.. I still can't believe it.. laundry.. I was always on his case about his wash on his bedroom floor. It really is a relief to receive a letter. I hope everybody gets one real soon. It feels like a piece of you is back!!!
