Yep ditto on G's mom, we have verizon and that is exactly what we will be doing, it won't change hours contract at all and they can suspend service at no charge without affecting the contract.we suspended service during bc and are transferring his service so that he pays for his bill. My husband travels on his job and got 5 gb for $50. It was more than enough to user for a on line class. All with Verizon.

the sprint 4G is really nice we got that in chicago its really fast, but its only 3G here at home still good but a little slower.

and if some of you are still paying for your kids cell phones..(I am too at the moment) but verizon told me that I can transfer the phone and her laptop service into her name ( actually its an assumption of responsability) then everything stays the same , she wont have to get new contracts and she just gets the bills. and if she gets deployed somewhere where they dont have coverage they will let her out of the contract without a cancelation fee. which can be very expensive regularly.  I'm sure all of the carriers offer something like this. but I thought right now it was the best way to go so we might be able to get rid of contract if she ends up somewhere crazy

Note from Here4... "
Me again...no news (as expected since she said she will not be able to call until after bs). BUT...just in case she still needs to pass that blasted run, tomorrow am will be her last time. So, if you would, send out more running prayers. Thanks again, friends. I think we have all done our part from out here...she and the fit div have to do their part from in there! Tomorrow is another long day of phone holding. Ugh. Thanks again!"
