My Sailor made it to Charleston, SC this evening. Will be picking out his house on base Tuesday and hopefully Wednesday flying home to get his wife for their move together to Charleston! So excited for their new adventure together! So proud of my Sailor of the United States Navy!
Jeff, we can always meet at Shoshone falls. :) I hear it is beautiful right now.
Ha ha about the girlfriend. I told my son that I was glad that he didn't have a girlfriend because then he wouldn't have been excited to see us. :) He assured me that he still would have been, but I know better.
Funniest thing my SR kept saying was how hot all the girls were, EVERYWHERE. At one point he asked if I thought maybe the girls really weren't that hot but he just hadn't seen any for so long maybe they just looked really good. :) I thought of all those sailors and the bad reputation they got about girls in every port and it had new meaning to me. We decided it was like going to the grocery store when you are really hungry. ;)
I'm still hanging onto every memory from the day. What an amazing experience.
