Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He said they did well and he too enjoyed the experience but is exhausted as well. Common July 9th!!!! : ) Job well done all!!

Comment by MomSeanEM2 on July 1, 2010 at 5:54pm: We received more letters from our son today and he is doing very well. He is really looking forward to graduation. They have been working & strudying very hard. They took a street hit on Marching Inspection which effects the division score. Personally he is doing very well but he said some guys either just don't get it or don't care. He thinks some guys just don't want to be there but him and others do.
He reports to A school on 7/24/10 but does not know where they will be staying after graduation. They have not received orders on that yet. He said they were given time to write whomever they wanted but wished that he could have made a call.

Comment by Mn Navy Mom on July 1, 2010 at 5:43pm: Hey everyone "I have a SAILOR"......Div 235 has finished their BS. I waited all day and finally got the call about 4 p.m. CST. My son was happy, but exhausted......he said it was fun ~ he approached like a video simulation game. Parts we hard, but overall, he really enjoyed. I will be thinking of the rest of you as you wait for your call!
