Joes mom, I forgot to mention about the phone calls. We received the one on May 19th and one on 6/10 and that was it. My daughter said if he calls again don't yank the phone off my head and let me talk for a bit. LOL I was just a little anxious to hear from him don't you think. I don't know if we will get anymore calls. It would be nice but I'm not counting on it. Even though I am not supposed to keep my cell phone on at work I do anyway just in case. I work in a hospital and I keep it in my pocket.

Justinmom, Sorry your son had to have his teeth pulled by Petty Officer Dentist. Sean said some guys were really hurting.
Joe Mom - I hope BS 21 isn't 7/8 either because we are flying out to Chicago that day. I would like to know when they are doing BS21 but in a way I don't want to know either, Most people do have wisdom teeth. Some people have molars removed and the wisdom teeth move and take the place of the molars. I know my son was very, very thankful to us in his letter about having his wisdom teeth out when he did. Seans bunkmate had his out and was in severe pain. I feel so bad for all that had to go through that. Not fun at all.

lol - my son was one of the 44 who had all 4 of his wisdom teeth pulled, I think it was week 2...he said they pulled all 4 in 15 minutes and they gave him 2 days to rest and some Ibuprofen! He said it was miserable trying to sleep that night. Also said he looked awful with big puffy cheeks and bruises...

Joes Mom,
Our son also told us when he is done with his, ironing, fixing his rack and getting ready for inspections he helps the others. So hopefully the division is in good shape. He also thanked us for having his wisdom teeth out when he was 16 because 41 guys had wisdom teeth pulled and they don't even put you out. They give them a local. OUCH He said they were hurting. Did your son have to have his wisdom teeth pulled?

Yes I am a little nervous about BS21 myself, but we will have to do alot of praying from now until graduation. I hope we don't miss any phone calls either, but I am sure he would get ahold of somebody at home or on our cells. When Sean spoke with my husband he told him BS21 for them would be around 7/8 but that sounds to close to graduation day but it is the navy. I know Sean also mentioned in his last letter that his division got the athletic flag. Good for them. I am proud of them.

Yes I would like to know when BS21 is also for div. 242. My husband and I are a bit confused about what week they are in. The week before last I thought was Service Week and our son wrote in his letters that he was on the Marlinespike and he was picked to be the boatswains mate of the watch. I wrote my son yesterday and told him if he knows when BS21 is to write us and let us know. I am so looking forward to seeing him. I don't know about anyone else but I wish it was tomorrow.

My fiance earned an hour-long phone call yesterday!! He's in division 241 and he said that they are all doing really well and working together. It was SO WONDERFUL to get to talk to him for so long and hear all the details about life there. I can't wait to see him in less than two weeks!!! :)

Div 235 mom...I smile when reading these posts...then could laugh and cry. Some of you are getting the information a detailed person like me craves - dates and what they have done, test scores etc. My son's last letter just came on Saturday and his details to me were that he wants his energy drinks (no low carb or sugar free) and a bag of gummi worms. I laugh because these things are "him" and it makes me miss him so much. :)
