Hello ladies :) I am in PIR group 8/20/10 and yesterday I read about what is going on with Div 242. I live in CA so 4:00am GL time is 1:00am my time. I usually stay up pretty late anyways so I figured, "what is an extra couple hours awake?" I stayed up until 1:00am my time and started praying for them as they were waking up and getting ready for BS21. It seems like no one has heard from them yet today, which I would consider a good thing. If anything went wrong I think they would have called by now. Blessings to all of you and have a WONDERFUL day tomorrow! I am sure you are all SOOOO excited! God Bless :)

chlzo4: Sounds like MomtoSR's son is in your son's division, so keep this thought in mind: No news is good news! Could he of called another family member or a girlfriend? I've seen (heard) of that happening a lot on this site!

Anyones help is greatly appreciated. Have not received phone call from son in Div. 238. His battlestation was on 7/05/10. Don't know what to do or who to call.

Thank you all for all your thoughts and prayers for div. 242. It is all about teamwork and how the division needs to work together as a team. We are hopiing everything went well for them this morning. Everyone have a safe trip.

I woke up this morning (way too early, btw) thinking about div 242 and everyone traveling today. I'm hoping that everyone arrives safely, and that loved ones of 242 get GREAT news today.

I am praying for all of you. I have never heard of this happening before, but then again, I've only been on N4M for about 3 months. I have asked other groups to add you all to their prayer list.

browneyedgirl - maybe you should keep your motel reservations, explain the situation (briefly so you don't start crying) and see what they say. It's hard to find a motel at the last minute in GL - and this is a large PIR group too.

I truly think that everything will go fine tomorrow. Apparently the RDC's felt it important to "stress" the importance of doing BS-21 correctly, so although I know it wasn't an idol threat, they wanted them to know they were serious. Think about this: If a whole division were to fail - that is not the recruits fault, it's their trainer!!! I teach at the university level and if my whole class failed after 8 intensive weeks of class, my butt would be on the line, not the students.
Trust God to help you fall asleep tonight and He will see you through this. Please try and get online when you arrive and keep the rest of us posted. Safe & blessed travels to all of you!

Congratulations to all the new sailors and I will say a special prayer tonight for div 242. I can't imagine how hard that would be to not know what's going on.
