Julie - I have a nephew that has SMA! I find that most people have never heard of it. It sounds like you all handle it so very well. I sure will be looking for you next Friday!!! Or maybe Thursday if you end up switching to Sarge's Meet and Greet. Take care!!!
My SR has his birthday on Monday, so it would be amazing if he gets a call on his B-Day. :-) I'll gladly wait until Monday to get to wish him happy b-day verbally.
Good to finally know for sure that 221/222 didn't do BattleStations this past week.
Ladies, just a caution that we aren't allowed to put actual days/dates on here before they go through, so if you posted below the date they are going through, please delete and repost the rest of the info.
Ladies - don't sweat it if you don't get a call. They get busy and the phone banks are few. He had to buy a new phone card because the one he had ran out, so if your son doesn't have access to $$ to get a phone card, then he may not be able to call. Will be nice once he is in A-shool and they have their phone or can email.
Yes, it is you. That'r pretty cool we connected through all these people.
I tackled my son's room and car the week he left. You would have thought he had no clue he was leaving because he left the bed a-squew, piles of clothes (some clean/some dirty). Even a duffle bag in the car was stuffed with dirty work-out clothes and wet swin trunks from the gym. We laughed. Like someone else said earlier, I bet they don't leave a room like that again :o)
Aww! Good to hear Mom of drew----thank you for the update! :-)
Got a letter today written last Sunday that we should get a call between 12 & 4 on Friday. Well, we all know that didn't happen. Letter was written B4 they made up the gas chamber exercise. Says they got all their flags! Also, 221 is having fun making the RDCs laugh even though they know they'll get extra PT for it.
NavyKnit22, I'm going to miss not meeting you so much!
Ok, So I did decided to tackle my son's room today. It wasn't has bad as it would have been if I had done it as soon as he left, but there were still tears. However I was rewarded after becasue no sooner did I finish and my son called :) His div. didn't win CC I believe he said a 900div won, but I'm not positive. JULIE - Yes our sons are bunk mates! How funny is that? Now we have to meet for sure! For the Moms waiting for their call after BS yesterday, my son said that he didn't think there was any. I was actually surprised that he got to call again, since he was able to call last Saturday as well. he said that they have been doing really well as a div. so they earned another phone call. I asked my son about the gas chamber and he said that it was actually kind of fun. Who says that? crazy kid! He really sounds good and I think is really looking forward to FRIDAY!!!!!! as am I!
Congrats Julie! :-) Thank you for letting us know that he called. And it's good to hear that he's calm. I'm hoping that all of the SR's are in the same state of mind. :-)
Didn't mention who WON (sorry not one) the the Captain's Cup
