Ok, thanks NicksWifey.  I guess we will have to wait and see.

Diannep- I did factor in July 4th.  Before the holiday, Nick said their weeks started on Fridays.  After the holiday, they started the next Monday instead.  So this past Mon would have been 6-1.

We're going to blame it on a tech issue with the phones or something.....or maybe they let our SR's or SAILORS eat a really good dinner and desert, and with full bellies, they're all in their bunks asleep resting up for the Captains Cup. :-)  Just trying to keep the mood light.  :-)

Comment by diannep on July 13, 2012 at 8:57pm

No, mrsSR:  No BattleStations are ever held on Fri or Sat nights.  They have Captains Cup in the morning.  Next time they could go is Sun night...but they don't always go on Sun nights.  Some PIR groups do, some don't.

Comment by diannep on July 13, 2012 at 8:56pm

No, I don't think they would have gotten behind in training.  They have that down "to a t."  Now, they DID lose a day with July 4th.  Did you factor that into your guess on 6/4?  They all moved back a day in training....basically they were the same week/day on the 5th that they were on the 4th.  So, then, if today was 6/4, then they won't go until next week.  That is what I'm trying to figure out.

Comment by MrsSailor-S on July 13, 2012 at 8:54pm

IF they didn't go last night, would they possibly go tonight? or is Saturday's reserved for Captains Cup?  Pray pray pray that we get a call!!! I haven't gotten a letter since Monday either, and I usually get a letter on Wednesday or Thursday. We're so close!

Comment by diannep on July 13, 2012 at 8:53pm

Ok, NicksWifey, you are the 2nd one that gave me that same date.  Normally they don't postpone BattleStations...ever...except occasionally in the winter if there is such a bad storm that they can't get to the ship to do them.  This is very strange...

Comment by diannep on July 13, 2012 at 8:43pm

Captains Cup is in the morning, so there will be no calls then.  Occasionally, some are allowed to call that afternoon, but not always.  Many times, we have to wait until the next week to find out who won Captains Cup.

There are 7 divisions in this group....technically, they can start/complete BattleStations next week.  They can have up to 4 divisions go at once.  They could actually get them done in two nights.

Sorry, ladies, if my info was wrong and they didn't go last night.  Thurs is normally a night that a PIR group starts (sometimes even Wed night), but with such few divisions, maybe they haven't gone yet.  :-(    I received one or two reports that they were going last night.

I kept count and they def should be on 6-4. My sr's last letter ended 7/7 and it was a go for BS21 on 7/12. What types of things might have postponed it? Could they have gotten behind in this last week?
Comment by Patrat-Ship04-Div223 on July 13, 2012 at 8:38pm

I feel for all those waiting for their call!!!  I hope that they are not just being mean navyknit22, that just wouldn't be nice.
