What is the most flags a division can earn?
Patrat - I didn't think we would get a letter today either because of the 4th but it came anyway! so keep an eye out for that mailman
LETTERS FROM my SR!!! she finally went to sick call and found out she had an ear infection and inflamed tonsil so she got on antibiotics and slept!!!! Next day she was fit for full duty and feeling 100 times better! Hell week was good and she passed her 2nd fitness test, 33 pushups, 67 situps and mile and half run now 13:52! They had inspections and got 5.0 on both which is the highest score! They have earned 4 flags as a division and possibly a 5th next week. Tomorrow she is donating blood so she gets candy! Blisters are gone YAY
Oh yeah, he also said that after Hell Week, the RDC's were completely different, much more jovial. That's good!
I finally got a letter from my hubby!! OMG, I needed one so much! He is in Div 221, says they are pretty much out of the running for Hall of Fame : ( but still doing very well : ) He talks about what they are doing, he really misses me, Diet Mountain Dew and Taco Bell, apparently in that order, lol. He wants to go out to dinner over the liberty weekend, he loves good food, especially Italian and seafood, anyone have any suggestions? I know there is a place that gives the Sailor a free meal, anything on the menu... I'll have to see where it is. He also says they have the last week to roam the camp, so apparently BS21 will be pretty early for them. No date though. The day started pretty crappy (literally, the puppy had diahrrea all over the hardwood floor and wall) so getting a letter was great!
He says he might be deployed right away, but I can't take the time to think about that. One bit at a time. Right now, we're getting through bootcamp, then we'll get through A School, THEN we'll worry about deployments. He also said he is not changing his rate, he's keeping EN, I'm so excited! I will be able to see him every weekend during A School. If anyone has any suggested reading for A School for EN in Great Lakes, I would love to read up on it.
:( was hoping for a letter today. Thursday has been the day for me so far. Then my mother in law reminded me about the Holiday, so maybe tomorrow! I'm starting to get very confused about whether to drive to PIR or take a taxi. I have heard both. I will say that I am one of those people who hates to be late, and I'm sure that I will be to excited to sleep the night before so it won't be a matter of not leaving in plenty of time. We will have my mother in law with us however who is 80, but healty. Any thoughts?
everyone please keep coming to this page. There are moms and other members who don't "do" facebook and they will be looking for support here. Some of them are here just reading posts who are too shy to post anything their selves so they rely on what they read here to get them through this experience. If you want some great facebook groups here are the ones I have seen the most activity on. Also remember some group are closed and some are not. You should never post any private info or ship movement, Sailor travel details on any page or group no matter if it is private, closed or open. Always be safe and keep your Sailor safe.

That's good Dianne.
Thanks, Betsy...we actually got a nice rain after I posted that...haze is gone!
We had a quiet day yesterday, but good one.
Good Morning everyone.
Dianne, I hope you get your winds soon.
