Meegan I believe yours and mine are in the same div 223...they would be on week 4 day 3 today according to my SR.  So their week starts on Tuesday and ends on Monday - Saturday, Sundays and holidays do not count.

Comment by Meegan on June 28, 2012 at 4:46pm

Oh and BTW, thanks to you all for all the nice comments. We are all raised great children and that is b/c we were good parents and tried to do the best by them. Kudos to each and every one of you on a job well done!

So if our SR's are in hell week does that mean that it is over tomorrow? I thought I heard that their weeks start and end on Friday's, I could be wrong but I guess I am hoping. I am really teary today. Maybe today I will have a letter. I wish that we ALL get letters today. I heard also that some area's down there may hit 106? does anyone know? I am a worry wart right now.

Sailorlady - SCARY! That doesn't sound good! Of course nor does Hell Week Diannep.   Think I'm starting to have anxiety!!

Comment by diannep on June 28, 2012 at 3:41pm

Patrat:  Sounds like Training Week 4, "Hell Week."  Very busy week for them, lots of inspections, up earlier each day...but the turning point where they become much more positive in their training and have the "goal" in sight!

Comment by Patrat-Ship04-Div223 on June 28, 2012 at 3:38pm

Got another letter! Her wrote it on 6/24. He said that everyone is a little nervous because they have two inspections this week. (anyone know what those are?) He also said that it's getting really busy and that they have weapons training on Friday. They are doing a lot of marching and they have made a lot of progress  compared to what it was like when they first started.  On a lighter note, he said that he was sorry for the black stains on the note paper, he was shinning his shoes and some got on the paper. That's my boy!

Ok, I know I saw something about division t-shirts somewhere and now cannot find it ANYWHERE!!  Can someone please tell me where I can find and buy the division t-shirts before we go to PIR? I would greatly appreciate it!!

Comment by Patrat-Ship04-Div223 on June 28, 2012 at 8:29am

It's so nice to read everyone's posts and know that I'm not alone in how I am feeling. Another weird dream last night. We were in a restaurant somewhere and my son came walking out in his uniform and everyone started clapping. Very strange. Not sure that i want this to go on for the next 22 days! Meegan your son sounds awesome and he also has an awesome Mom! I am tearing up just thinking about your reunion at PIR!  Navyknitt I agree with you about thinking about graduation and crying, it happens often! Do you think that there is a mascara available that's Proud Navy Mom Proof? :)  Hoping to get a letter today. Thursdays seem to be my day. Fingers crossed!

Comment by diannep on June 28, 2012 at 8:28am

I'll look forward to it, Lala!

Good morning all!  Please friend request/private message me BattleStations dates if you get any from your SRs.  I will be keeping a schedule.  Thanks!
