Does anyone know how I get a hold of the adminstrator for CallsForRecruits.com I want to right letters to recruits also that otherwise would not get them. I think that is really cool and I would do it even after my son moves on. I am having a heck of a time getting a password to addresses

Not sure if anyone here is interested, but I thought I'd pass it on.  There is a Facebook page for this PIR date at http://www.facebook.com/groups/133432956792127/

Some people like FB, some like N4Ms.  I personally use both.  A wealth of info in both places!  So thank you, everyone who is on here!

CallsForRecruits.org has a letters from home project going on.  You have to get a password from the administrator to have access to names/addresses, or request to join the facebook page.  Between my mom and I, we have sent over 30 cards and letters to SRs not getting mail.

Comment by diannep on June 26, 2012 at 7:27pm

Hi, Connie!  Thanks for stopping by!

harleygirl:  It would be wonderful to get some names of SRs not receiving mail so you can send some letters.  You all just remember that you must private message these SRs' names.  We can't post them on here.

Hey Mommas...i see you're all on the downhill slide into Great Lakes!  makin' reservations and plans....WOOO HOOOO!!

well i just dropped in to see how things are going for you and you're all  lookin' good and hangin' on for that "i'm a Sailor call".

i am so excited for all of you and looking forward to seeing if any Sailors from this group end up  as ATI's on the USS GHW Bush!

I agree with all on here - this is truly a support group...we don't have to be together in person to have this amazing support!  Thank you Lord for navyformoms....and I go into my daughter's room everyday.  I have even slept in her bed, makes me feel close to her...I use her wipe off calendar and cross out each day!  That seems to help me.

I received another letter from my SR!!  He sounded really well in the letter.  He said his bunkmate is really cool and is from Texas and is going to be a corpsman!  They were fitted for their white dress uniforms and he said that was neat.  He loves getting the letters every day!  He said he feels sorry for those who don't get mail.  Anyone have any names of those SR's that aren't getting mail!?  I would love to send them something!!!  We live in the area so will just be driving in on 7/20.  My SR could actually come home since we live within the 50 mile radius!!!  You ladies are a life-saver!!
