For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I guess I had my heart set on hearing it from him. BUT yes, u are right, we all have Sailors and I am thankful for that. Just wanted to hear his voice. :/ THANK YOU Navyknit and Lala for taking care of our hearts by at least trying to find out for us. Hugs to you

Comment by diannep on July 18, 2012 at 3:58pm: Looks like Harley girl's sailor is in 226, soooo....that means that all 4 divisions went through last night. YAH! 225/226 would either have to go with 223/224 (which they did) or after 223/224. So looks like all are done! :-) Congrats!

Sorry about the no calls yet. Hoping that they can call tomorrow???

I have never heard of anything like this before. But the important thing is that they did finish and they are Sailors. I don't know for sure but I would imagine that they will eventually get that call. Maybe later today or maybe tomorrow. Especially since they are told they will get those 3 calls. I'm here, I'm alive, and 'm a Sailor. I will contact Dianne and FTLW and see if they have heard of this before.
