mrojas2389--My boyfriend is going for AM. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think they get their orders until they reach the end of A school. My boyfriend graduates April 27th!

Ashley2011---it is an amazing idea to get an early start because I waited until my boyfriend left and I wish I would have known all these things before he left! He's still in BC but will hopefully go to A school in Pensacola and be closer to me.

Hey ladies! Long time no talk. Having a few relationship problems, mainly with trust. We both did things to ruin the other's trust, and I need help in just relaxing and telling myself that I am his one and only. We've been talking about getting engaged before the end of the year, but I want to feel completely secure in our relationship even before that happens, for obvious reasons. Sometimes love makes you do crazy things, and I just need to calm myself down and experience what's going on right now. Seizing the day! But it is ohhhh so difficult...

:D Ready for the best welcome home story ever?

My sailor's best friend and I were planning to make a welcome home poster for him on saturday night. she texted me and said that she was picking up the poster and would be a little late. when I heard the door bell ring I went up to open the door and saw my sailor there in his blues. Behind him were our friends one of which had also just come in on an ealrier flight (hes in the national gaurd and has also been gone for quite a few months). I was so excited. But then I realized I was in sweatpants and looked like a hott mess from wrapping gifts and finishing up shopping all day. Apparently I stood there forever before I exclaimed "you suck!" and jumped to give him a hug. I have spent just about every second since with him (: He is the best! I dont want thursday to come and to have to let go of him!!!

Sara- I'm not getting my Sailor anything for Christmas. I keep telling him I'm his present since we're getting married Dec. 22 :) but we're also moving from FL to CA 4 days later so we don't really have the money for presents, sorry I couldn't be any help! I'm in CA right now and love it!!! I found the perfect apartment yesterday we're just waiting to get approved now!
Congratulations Lyndsi!

I Have been married to my s/o for one week today :) couldnt be happier. hope everyone is doing well, things are so crazy over here. We are getting our orders tomorrow (most likely) and the chances of us staying in Florida are not looking so good, bummer, we love it here.

Im not doing anything special for mine, he is pretty hard to shop for esp since I dont really know what he likes to do anymore. Plus since he lives on base and stuff I know he doesnt really have a lot of room. But he bought himself an Xbox a few weeks ago so I got him the rechargable battaries and station so he doesnt have to keep buying new batteries. I also found an adoreable little sailor ornament and had the year and his name written on it. While he is home Im thinking of taking him to dinner too or something like that.

Nrose- people are just ignorant. You don't have ANY idea what this lifestyle is like until you are in it... she is just talking out of her ass. It's sad that so many people feel that way though. I hope that her boyfriend does join the military and she doesn't hold him back from serving his country.

what are you ladies getting your sailors for christmas??? I've been sewing blankets for everyone in his family and mine for christmas and I sewed my husband one too but I have no idea what else I could get him.. He is spending a lot of money on me and getting me a new wedding band that I really want so I feel like I need to get him something more than just a blanket! any ideas?!

Went to the mall today and talked to a girl who commented on my neclace (one that my sailors mom got me at his bc graduation) so I told her that it kept my sailor close to me when he was far away. she said that her boyfriend wants to join the military but she flat out told him no he couldnt. I was completely shocked! then she told me that she thinks long distance and military relationships are jokes, because "come on, one of the people HAS to be cheating on the other..." I was so stunned at what she said I told her to stop ringing up my purchace and walked out of the store... I can't beleive how some people feel about this and how easy it is for them to bash and make a joke of it.
