Have you heard from your daughter or son?  My daughter is in Div 300 and she sounds good, but tired.  Interesting in hearing how your daughter or son is doing.

Tisha: That "might" make him a Grad & Go, which does not mean Gloom and Doom! Ask him in your next letter. In the meantime, there's a discussion above that provides a link to the Grad & Go Info group. Post questions to the group - the discussion above is just a link to get there!

WOW - this PIR has 14 divisions, I have not seen one that large before!

Thanks Jessica. I will keep that in mind. It does help me decide on how many days to stay.

Trisha, That sounds like he is a Grad-N-Go Status. That is probably why the phone call too, so you don't plan to stay beyond the 4th.

I spoke to my son today for a short minute. He told me hispaperwork states he will leave GL on 9/04 for Florida (after PIR 9/02). Does anyone know if that is set in stone?

janetr1, The Thursday PIR is due to the Labor Day holiday falling that following Monday. I do believe we may have more time with them depending on where they will be going for A school. Our son is ship 4 div 818 also, but haven't rec'd the form letter yet.

My son is in ship 4, div 818. I got my box last week and my form letter today. Does anyone know why this group graduates on a Thursday, when all the other groups graduate on a Friday? Do you think that changes anything on their weekend time? Also, Monday the 5th is Labor day. Does anyone know if they will get that day off? It's nice to think we may get extra time with them.
