Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Have you heard from your daughter or son?  My daughter is in Div 300 and she sounds good, but tired.  Interesting in hearing how your daughter or son is doing.

Lydia my daughter has a different address of 3505 Sailor Drive, so maybe it has to match the ship and division?

Hi Everyone, Just received the form letter today and my daughter Morgan graduates on 9/2 yipee!!! First day I have been happy in a week.
She is ship 11 Div 300

I am so excited to finally have her address and join a group that has the same grad. day.

Welcome CKH, Our son is ship 4 div 818 got to GL on 7/8 rec'd his box on 7/13 & as of today no form letter yet. Hoping for tomorrow tho.

My son also arrived the same day and also on Ship 4, Div.818. I did receive the form letter last week. PIR Sept 2nd. Nothing else yet, I have sent a lot of letters, no response yet though.

Kellysmom- one of the moms suggested starting a file to keep all this "stuff" in so you will feel more organized. I started one tonight and yes a check list as well. What to take for us/him etc......Also Hotel, airport addresses, phone numbers, Im gonna work that GPS that I got for Christmas!

Trisha-Ashley's-mom Congratulations to your daughter and all her hard work. It is so encouraging to see someone come through. She is so young and already accomplished so much. What awesome adventures await. I keep telling myself look to the adventures these great kids are going to have, basic is just the first step to getting there.

Best advice is to have her color pictures and you start writing your letters... You should get your "form letter" with his address and other info soon. Ladies / JessicaB- correct me if Im wrong, but cant CKH use the same mailing address as my son?
