Have you heard from your daughter or son?  My daughter is in Div 300 and she sounds good, but tired.  Interesting in hearing how your daughter or son is doing.

NavyGreens - his name is Stephen. Where is James going for A-School?
haven't found anyone else out there yet in the same division. I will also send the information to my son. What a great connection!

Good Morning everyone, I also received a letter from my son yesterday, It did not have the date he was graduating yet, but I hope to get the form letter today or tomorrow. He said he was doing okay and that it wasn't bad but they were in the preliminary stuff.

Hi Everyone,
I just received the form letter yesterday stating my son is to be PIR on Sept 2nd and depart on Sunday Sept.5th Now trying to, book hotel & airfare from Rochester, NY while moving back to ROC from South Florida by myself. I am going to have to take a leap of faith and go non-refundable on the tickets because I am flat broke! My son in Ship 4, Div. 818.

Brenda - what is your son's name? I'll have to write James and tell him we chatted! In his letter he sounded tired, but said they've gotten into a schedule and he likes that. He didn't say anything about graduation, so I guess that letter will come soon. Here's an idea for your sailors, we are from NC and James is a HUGE ECU fan, I went to their website and printed off some updated sports articles and sent those. I also printed off MLB standings and a few sports articles so he feels like he's updated. I figured he'd go into withdrawals without some sports info :) Hope everyone is doing well!

I got my first letter from Austin today! He said not bad so far and has made more friends than he thought he would. He said he would hate it if it weren't for those friends. He said we all miss our families and friends so we are all here for each other to keep our minds off missing home so much. He is playing trombone in the band!

I have to share, my son left on July 7th and although I haven't received my box or letter, I received a surprise call from my son. He was only able to call this early becuase they needed some information. We talked for about 30 minutes. It was very emotional. I am soooo proud of him.
I hope all of you are doing well!
