Cheryl, If I were close to where you are I'd make the mojitos and something for dessert then invite myself over to your place 'cause the meal you describes sounds delicious!! I'm licking my lips just reading it!! Love, love love asparagus & glazed carrots. Love movie watching too. Question though. May I talk during it? LOL

Kelly, glad your trip to your son Lee's graduation was so nice!! Congratulations to you both!! The ad's now in May's edition of O magazine, I got one at the Walgreens drug store but whatever is in your area.

Wendy ~ Congratulations to you & your son as well.

Hey all ~ Just want to wish everyone a blessed & joyful Easter.

Cheryl, so sorry to hear about your cancelled plans and what it meant to you. I've been feeling a little disappointed too. You see, my daughter PJ just found out that she'll be deployed during her brother's graduation. Ugggh. {{lots of love & cyber hugs to you}}

Wendy, that is SOO awesome that you are so creative making a quilt for your son to enjoy!! And he'll be home in a few days, ENJOY!! Well, guess I'm preaching to the choir. lol

Jon ~ hope that you hear from your son immediately and see him soon!!

Lauren ( & all) ~ if the weather ever breaks here in the midwest Mojitos (happy hour) at my place!!

That ain't boring Wendy - that's awesome. It may be something he doesn't fully appreciate yet at his age, but he will.

Absolutely Sherry - I think we're all proud to have you here, and are very appreciative of your daughter's service to our country. Three cheers!

LOL. No, not a celebrity ...just a parent like most on the site. Thanks for the pat on the back though. ;>) Cheryl, yes I was interviewed after the I joined the site last year. My daughter PJ had just graduated from the Naval Academy and I had photos from the graduation ceremony posted on my page. Doing the interview was a great way for us to let more folks know about one of the Navy's many gems: USNA and that the Navy is a good choice for our kids. I think you all would agree, wouldn't you. :>D
