Norma:  Here is the phone number to see about ordering the PIR DVD.  Did you make sure that your sailor didn't already order this?  It is mailed about 3-4 weeks after PIR:

847-578-6205

Here is the link for the division tshirts:

hummmm, maybe that is why it is freezing in the PIR hall, so everyone will go buy sweatshirts lol

When it rains, it pours :-( If you received an email from me (regular email from uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com, not this sites emails/messages)  it would have had a weird weird link on it. DO NOT open the link. I didn't send it and it could be a virus. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this could have caused and of my friends. I get these emails all the time so I know not to open them. But I guess somehow I got a virus from it. Don't open it and you will be fine. I never send links like that in an email. I would only send you a link to my website or facebook page and that would be in the middles of a real message that you can tell is from me. Thanks

kathyrc:  So sorry we didn't warn you about the COLD a/c!  Forgot about that.  A lady told us about it a couple of months ago.  Will be sure to pass it along to the future PIR groups...or better yet, maybe you can drop into the other PIR groups and share your experiences once you get back home?  They LOVE to hear from those who have experienced PIR!

Hope today has been wonderful and that there are MANY airport visits tomorrow.  Remember....get a quick nap between dropping off your sailor back at RTC and leaving in the wee hours for the airport to wait with them!

flgirltwo - There is nothing like it....such a sense of pride!!  The a/c was cranking in the PIR and we were all freezing!!!!  I had on a dress...my husband is never cold - had on long pants and short sleeve polo. He was freezing. I had brought a sweater thank goodness. We only had 7 divisions - small group - but freezing. My husband and daughter ran to NEX and bought sweatshirts - great prices - would have paid almost anything though...haha  I covered my legs with mine. Experience was great...Sarge provided shuttle - well worth it!!  Nothing to worry about and $3/per person each way from hotel.
